Effective date: November 3, 2026
This policy describes how Tech-Tool Plastics, Inc. (“Tech-Tool,” “we,” “us”) handles information on two sites:
- https://tech-tool.com, the company website.
- https://rfq.tech-tool.com, the rotorcraft window catalog and request-for-quote site.
What we collect
You can browse either site without an account and without giving us your name.
Both sites, the hosting provider, and Cloudflare keep connection logs. Those logs include IP address, browser type, date and time, and the page requested. They are used to deliver the sites and to detect abuse.
Company website
The contact page uses an Elementor form. It asks for first and last name, phone, email, company name, mailing address, a message, and comments or questions. Submit only what the form asks for. Entries are emailed to Tech-Tool. Elementor may also save a copy in WordPress when submission storage is turned on for that form. WordPress user accounts are only for staff who edit the site. Those accounts include a name, email address, and login record. Visitors are not asked to register.
The company site loads fonts from Google, so your browser contacts Google to retrieve them. Social icons and share controls link to services such as YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X. Those services receive information only if you follow a link or use a share button. Elementor may show popups. A popup collects information only if it contains a form you submit. The company site does not run third-party advertising or analytics tags.
Quote site
While you build a quote, the site keeps a session with the products, quantities, and options you selected, plus any contact, address, aircraft, and message fields you have typed. The session expires after about two hours of inactivity and is cleared when you submit the request.
When you submit a request, we store:
- Your name, company name, email address, and phone number
- Your mailing address, including street, city, state or region, postal code, and country
- Aircraft serial number and model year, when you provide them
- The products, quantities, and options you requested
- Any message you include
- The fact that you agreed to this policy
- A reference number, the date and time of the request, and later status updates made by our staff
Do not send payment card numbers or other sensitive information. The quote form is not for that.
After you submit, a confirmation page is available at a private link. Anyone with that link can see your name, email address, reference number, and the parts you requested. Treat the link as private. We email a confirmation to the address you entered and email the request to Tech-Tool staff. Those messages are sent through SendGrid.
The quote site also loads fonts from Google. It does not use advertising cookies or analytics pixels.
Cookies
We use cookies needed to run the sites. We do not use them to advertise to you.
On the company website, WordPress may set a cookie that checks whether your browser accepts cookies. Login cookies are set only when a staff member signs in to edit the site. Elementor may store interface state on your device.
On the quote site, a session cookie ties your browser to the quote you are building, and a security cookie protects forms from cross-site forgery. Those cookies are encrypted and sent only over HTTPS.
Cloudflare may set a cookie on either site to tell browsers apart from automated traffic.
How we use information
We use contact and quote details to answer you, prepare a quote, follow up, and keep a record of the inquiry. We use logs, security cookies, and Cloudflare to operate and protect the sites. We use staff account data to control who can change the company website or the quote administration area.
Who receives it
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We share it with Tech-Tool staff who need it to respond, and with service providers that host the sites, deliver them through Cloudflare, store them, and send email. Quote email is sent through SendGrid. Contact-form email is sent through the mail service configured for WordPress. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect Tech-Tool, our customers, or the sites.
How long we keep it
A quote session is deleted when it expires or when the request is submitted. Contact submissions, submitted quotes, and related email are kept for as long as we need them to respond, follow up, and keep ordinary business records, and then deleted or de-identified. Staff accounts are removed when the person no longer needs access. Security logs are kept for a limited period.
Your choices
You may ask what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we are required to keep. For a quote, include the reference number. Contact Tech-Tool Plastics, Inc. at the street address or phone number above, by replying to the message we sent about your request, or through the form at https://tech-tool.com/contact/.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in the California Consumer Privacy Act. These sites are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
If you are outside the United States, information you submit is processed in the United States so we can respond to you and keep the sites secure.
Changes
We will post updates at https://tech-tool.com/privacy-policy/ and change the effective date. That page is the current policy for both sites. A quote you already submitted stays covered by the policy you accepted when you sent it.
